Docent in Political Science
Associate professor in political science based at Uppsala University. My research lies in the fields of political behavior, public opinion, sexuality politics, and gender.
I am incoming Editor in Chief of the European Journal of Politics & Gender (from July 1, 2026) and Associate Editor at Research & Politics. I am secretary and treasurer for the Swedish Political Science Association (SWEPSA) and board member of the Nordic Political Science Association (NoPSA). I am also on the Diversity Committee of the European Political Science Society (EPSS), representing LGBTQ+ scholars.
I lead three large-scale research projects on political behavior and socio-economic inclusion of LGBT+ people in Sweden. My work can be found in The Journal of Politics, JEPP, Political Behavior, EJPR, WEP, PSRM and other outlets.
Husband to Gunnar, cat-dad to Björn and an avid hiker.
